Hydro jetting cost in Dubai
What actually moves the price, so you can read a quote instead of guessing at one.
Quick answer
How much does hydro jetting cost in Dubai?
The cost of hydro jetting in Dubai depends on pipe diameter and length, what is being removed, the pipe's condition, how accessible the line is, whether a CCTV survey is included, and whether it is an emergency callout. There is no single price, because a 40 mm basin waste and a 200 mm blocked main are not the same job.
Why there is no price list
We do not publish prices, and we are wary of any drainage company that publishes a firm one before seeing the job. A number given without a survey is a number that gets revised upward on site. What follows is what actually moves the cost, so you can judge a quote when you get one.
What drives the cost
- Pipe diameter and length. A short small-bore waste and a long large-bore main need different equipment, nozzles and time. This is the single biggest factor.
- What is being removed. Soft sludge is quick. Hardened grease along a restaurant run, or mineral scale laid down over years, is slow and sometimes needs several passes.
- Pipe condition. A sound line can be worked at full specification. A line the survey shows as damaged must be worked cautiously or not at all, which can turn the job into a repair instead.
- Access. An external chamber at ground level, a rodding eye behind a fitted kitchen, and a line reachable only by lifting tiled floor are three different jobs at the same pipe size.
- Whether a survey is included. We include a CCTV survey by default, because jetting blind is how a cracked pipe becomes an excavation. If you hold a recent readable survey, that step can be shortened.
- Emergency or out-of-hours attendance. A 2 am callout to a sewage backup is priced differently from a booked morning visit.
- Water supply and waste. A site with no accessible water supply, or where recovered material must be tankered away, adds equipment and time.
Where the money is actually saved
The largest saving on jetting is rarely the rate. It is not paying for it repeatedly. A line cabled again and again because the grease coating was never removed costs more across a year than one properly jetted line, even though each cable visit looks cheaper. If a drain keeps coming back, the cheap-looking repeated clearance is the expensive option.
The second saving is the survey that stops you jetting a pipe that needed repairing. Pressure applied to a cracked or displaced line opens the defect, and the excavation that follows costs many times the survey that would have prevented it. Included properly, the survey is not an add-on to the jetting cost. It is the thing that protects it. See hydro jetting versus drain snaking for when jetting is the right spend at all.
Frequently asked questions
Why won't you give me a price for hydro jetting over the phone?
Because a phone price for jetting is a guess, and the honest ones get revised on site anyway. The cost depends on pipe size, what is in the line, its condition and how accessible it is, none of which can be judged reliably without a look. We would rather tell you the factors, scope the actual job, and give you a figure we can stand behind than quote a number designed to win the call and change later.
Is hydro jetting more expensive than snaking?
Per visit, usually yes, because it uses more equipment and takes longer. Across a year, often no, because on a grease or scale line one jetting visit lasts where snaking has to be repeated. The right comparison is the cost of keeping the drain working, not the price of a single visit. For a recurring blockage, repeated cheap clearances usually add up to more than one proper jetting.
Does the hydro jetting price include a camera survey?
In our case, yes, by default, because jetting a pipe nobody has looked inside risks turning a cracked line into an excavation. If you already hold a recent, readable CCTV survey of the same line, tell us and that part can be shortened. Be cautious of a jetting quote that treats the survey as an optional extra, because the survey is what makes the jetting safe.
What makes one jetting job cost more than another?
Mostly pipe size and what is in the line: a long, large-bore main packed with hardened grease is a far bigger job than a short waste pipe with soft sludge. After that, access matters a great deal, since a line behind a fitted kitchen or under a tiled floor takes longer to reach, as does whether the work is an emergency callout. The pipe's condition also matters, because a damaged line changes the job entirely.
Is hydro jetting cost available near me?
Near me is a fair thing to search for, and here is how it works with us. We provide hydro jetting cost across Dubai, working from our base in Al Quoz Industrial Third, so a near me search is answered less by a branch on your street and more by how quickly we can reach you. That depends on where you are in the city, the time of day and access, so rather than claim to be the nearest, we ask where you are and give you a realistic time to attend. Tell us your location and what you need, and we will be straight about when we can be there.
